Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
1. Develop test plans/Automation strategy based on engineering specifications/New feature development.
2. Prepare test estimates, test strategies and project schedules. Develop Test Plan optimization & Automation strategy for features.
3. Execute test cases and generate test reports and work with engineering team to resolve bugs.
4. Work on Field/customer issues - configure separate setups to reproduce them in-house environment and provide Root cause analysis.
5. Work with QA peers on multiple projects.
6. Track bugs on an internal database.
7. Conduct iterative ad-hoc and stress testing on various products to uncover as many defects as possible.
8. Set up labs according to test plan
Qualifications
1. 5 to 6 yr of experience in SIP/VOIP testing - SIP, Skinny, H323, Servers [Broadsoft, Lync], Mobile and Network domains.
2. experience on Scripting skills is added advantage but not mandatory ? PERL, TCL, expect etc. and White Box Testing and Automation Framework/Design/Framework
3. Excellent Verbal and Written Communication skills.
4. Strong network knowledge is required - DHCP, DNS, Layer 2 / Layer 3 switches.
5. Ability to work with cross-functional teams, communicate QA perspective and lead QA effort
6. Work on Quality improvements ? Test plan refactoring, KPI.
