<hr><b><u>Context/Scope:</b></uDiageo Business Services? aim is to leverage Diageo?s Operating Model by supporting standard processes and systems with effective and efficient shared services across Diageo.

 

Enterprise Operations Function (Ent. Ops) is part of the larger Diageo Business Services (DBS). The Ent. Ops model currently includes Bangalore, with an employee base of approx. 500 FTEs, providing back office processing (financial, cash cycle, operations and HR) and other value-add services. It also encompasses a significant part of the group?s Financial Planning and Reporting and Treasury activities (Accounting, Control and Performance). Further Ent.Ops locations include Manila, Budapest, Bogota and Nairobi. Enterprise Operations is a multicultural, multi-language environment.

 

The RTR Technical Governance SME role is to assist service delivery and Governance teams in Analysing, Designing & Developing - Excel Macro or any other Diageo based applications automation, Maintenance, and Documentation of the same             

<hr><b><u>Dimensions:</b></u>Closely supports the Global Governance and RTR Governance Director, provides information and support to the RTR Service Delivery teams, Group Controller and Market / Regional Finance teams across Diageo and liaises with other internal & external stakeholders.

Capabilities

The SME would be expected to be responsible for:

 

?Overall ownership of the excel based macro development, maintenance and upgradation initiatives

?Business analysis ? Understand the need to partially or fully automate some of the activities performed by RTR teams

?Solution Design ? Based on the problem statement, should be able to design solution, seeks approval of relevant stakeholders

?Develop solution ? On approval, should be able to develop tools, systems or modules required to solve the business problem

?Maintenance ? Should act as guardian of all the RTR teams process automation tools (Excel Macro, etc..)

?Documentation ? create DTP?s and other Business documentations needed for the continuity of automation tools

?Assist service delivery team by training on how to use the macros and also solve any issues arising due to existing or newly developed macros

?Train service delivery teams of how to use the tools

?Help in solving any issues arising due to the existing or newly developed macros             

Top Accountabilities?Deliver automation solutions to automate excel based process

?Ensure all the Automations (excel based or other tools) works seamlessly

?Engage with relevant stakeholders like RTR service delivery teams, Governance, CARM teams etc.

?Create, Maintain and modify documents as required by Diageo policy             

<hr><b><u> Qualifications and Experience Required</b></?5-7 years management experience in development of and/or FMCG experience a preference

?Graduate in computer science or other relevant field

?Strong Financial process understanding and experience in RTR process is desirable

?Strong business partnering skills with desire to make a difference beyond the own team and function

?Proven ability to align multiple stakeholders and engage the organisation effectively

?Project and Change management experience is preferred

?Knowledge of how to apply appropriate models, frameworks and best practise
