JOB DESCRIPTION: BUSINESS ANALYST - BANKING (CHENNAI REGION)

Reports To: Senior Project Manager

Position Overview
Reporting to the Senior Manager ? Implementation, the Business Analyst will be responsible for the requirement gathering, preparing the Business Requirement Documentation, liaising with technical team, performing internal System Testing and support bank users for UAT and obtaining sign off for the current Banking Analytics / ADF Projects. Eligible candidate should be willing to travel within India or outside India to customer locations, on request, unconditionally.
Job description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for getting a complete understanding of the Business Intelligence requirements from the customer by conducting requirement gathering sessions & designing and implementing the solution on a Cloud environment or on an on-premise model. The candidate will liaise with customer user groups and offshore development team at Chennai or Mumbai to drive the development and delivery of the solution.
Experience in
?Requirement Analysis and BRD preparation for Banking solutions
?Thorough understanding of Banking business areas ? specifically with respect to regulatory reporting
?Dealing with Banking customers on day to day basis
?Working with a team of Technical Leads & Developers and/or functional users to perform detailed requirements analysis
?Must have done implementation of products / solutions for banks in India
?Prior experience on RBI ADF / Regulatory reporting, Basel III Reporting, Risk Based Supervision etc. is a big plus
Knowledge of
?ETL Technologies like Informatica
?Business area functionality on Banking business areas - like Loans, Deposits, GL, Delivery Channels, Treasury etc.
?Experience or working knowledge of any leading CBS systems like Finacle, Flex, Bancs, Intellect etc. is highly desirable
?SDLC lifecycle, right from requirement, engineering, training, UAT and Go Live.

Roles & Responsibilities
?Liaising with bank business users in eliciting requirements and documenting it
?Performing Source System Study during the Data Mapping phase of ADF implementations
?Preparing detailed Data Mapping documents or Business Requirement Documentation, Test Plan & Test Cases
?Co-ordination with offshore development team and guiding the team in terms of functional aspects
?Perform System & Integration Testing and recording test results in test cases and providing periodic updates to Project Manager
?Co-ordinate with customer user groups / IT teams for any clarifications during the Requirements & UAT phase
?Complete ownership of delivery of Regulatory Reporting and other solutions as per requirements
?Conduct End user Training & UAT sessions for business users and obtain UAT sign off
