- Good knowledge in PTP ( Accounts payable )
- Work experience in Invoice processing, payments and Helpdesk
- Decent communication skills
- Indian accounting experience
- SAP knowledge
- Ensure timely and accurate quality check of invoices, including online payment (OLP) requests and down payments (DP).
- Good knowledge of Indian Accounting and Tax structure for tax treatment while accounting in AP. (GST, Service Tax, TDS, WHT)
- Quality checks are effective and evidenced by zero quality issues on Parked and blocked invoices.
- Tracking and managing of the PTP shared mail box, Answering vendor calls and following up for resolutions.
- Ensure key vendor invoices are tracked.
- Ensure all other critical vendor invoices are tracked to avoid payment delays.
- Well versed with Month End Processes involved in PTP
- Ensure all the relevant PTP controls are operated and adhered to in their area of work.
Context/Scope: Global Diageo Business Services (GDBS) is a multi-functional shared service Centre that is managing Diageo-wide transactions across various world regions. Processes in scope are: Order to Cash, Purchase to Pay, Record to Report (Internal Reporting and Intercompany, External Reporting and Tax), Planning & Reporting, Treasury.
DBSI Bangalore is the newest addition to Diageo?s global shared services organisation. This new entity will enable Diageo to take further advantage of its presence in India by leveraging its business services operations and networks.
This position will work closely with units, factories, regional offices to make timely and accurate payments.
Market Complexity: Over 1500-suppliers spread across the country and different tax requirements applicable.
Diageo markets obtains supplies from all over the world and this role is expected to ensure timely payment using various payments methods
Leadership Responsibilities:
Purpose of Role: To ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices received from vendors and forwarding the same for scanning.
Shift timings (9AM to 6 PM)
Saturday working
Experience between 2.5 to 5 years
