Roles and Responsibility

JD for SharePoint Admin and DevOps who can manage around 1000 servers :-

  • Deployment of new applications and upgrades to SharePoint hosted applications & solutions across a global enterprise platform consisting of 100 dedicated SharePoint environments.
  • Demonstrable advanced knowledge of  Microsoft SharePoint 2016/2013 in an enterprise environment
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Provider Hosted Apps (PHA) is preferred.
  • Assists project management for application deployments and special projects that pertain to all custom club applications.
  • Deploys and tests data refreshes for certain custom applications using scripts developed by Development, Database and/or System Administration groups.
  • Understanding of multiple access and authentication models such as NTLM, Kerberos, Claims-based, ADFS, SSL, card services, TMG, UAG, etc.
  • Knowledge of troubleshooting tools and techniques related to networks and systems i.e. remote access tools, Windows Support tools, connectivity tests, etc.
  • Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server is a plus.
  • Experience with SCRUM/Agile development process is a plus.
  • Execution of application changes, releases, and service requests in supported environments.
  • Deploying automation solutions in a public cloud environment such as Azure & AWS.
  • Liaise with appropriate teams for the development of corrective actions or viable workarounds to application deployments.
  • Resolve and act as escalation and coordination point for L3 and L4 incidents and problems related to affected services
  • Root cause analysis and service improvement solutions
  • Execution of process engineering and service improvement initiatives including automation tooling
  • Enhance system performance and features on a regular basis for enhanced customer experience.
  • Experience supporting applications, platforms, and/or services in clustered, federated, shared and/or virtual environments
  • In-depth understanding of peripheral hardware such as load balancers, WAN optimizers, etc.
  • Documenting technical and business requirements, including Identifying and prioritizing issues
  • Collaborate with system Testers
  • Respond to automated alerts on the health of systems.
  • Identifying dependencies and pre-requisites for the solution and validation of non-functional attributes of the application environment design.
  • Integrating new infrastructure services based on designs, and participating in automation, consolidation, and centralization projects.
  • Adhere to ITIL guidelines for Incident, Problem, and Change Management
  • Ensures all work is carried out and documented in accordance with required standards, methods and procedures.
