Roles and Responsibility

Job Title: EIS_ Support_ Analyst

Function: EIS Support- Business Productivity-Tools, Process & Methods

Location: Bangalore

Job Description:

 

  1. Provide Support to client’s internal users on use of Engineering Applications, Product life cycle management, Product development Processes, Product design methods, Product/Component standardization.
  2. Participate actively for testing or validation of the tools from a support and customer perspective.
  3. Adaptive in nature to the changing environment and willingness to learn new systems in changing contexts. Willingness to learn about other functions such as Manufacturing, Industrialization, Procurement, Marketing etc and contribute to their collaboration with engineering users.
  4. Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with Internal Groups such as Tool verification and validation, Software application Support, Data migration and Engineering and other relevant company resources. 
  5. Take care of user administration activities for various PLM, ALM, ECAD and  MCAD applications (Tool installation, user activation / deactivation, role & project creation).
  6. Ensure that the timely & quality support is provided through on-call and ticket management tool mmaintaining a high level of customer satisfaction through knowledge of the customer's organization while building a mutually beneficial relationship and dedication to the account.
  7. Ensure that the timely & quality support is provided through on-call and ticket management tool.
  8. Continuous interaction with L2 and L3 support resources to get resolutions for complex issues.
  9. Generate quarterly ticket analysis report and provide recommendations to L2 support.
  10. Effectively contribute to support knowledge base.
  11. Willingness to manage L1 activities for new technology introduced in the PLM portfolio.
  12. Provide regular updates on the tickets resolved to Team Leader and functional manager.

 

Technical Skills:

  1. Understanding of CREO.
  2. Basic understanding of PLM/PDM & Design concepts.
  3. Optional – ProE, Windchill basic knowledge.

Qualification: Diploma/BE in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Production
