Roles and Responsibility

Job description – Project Engineer  

Location – Varanasi, UP

Typical work activities at site

Job responsibilities of a Site cum quality engineer involved in a typical project are listed below however it may vary depending on the type of project/s but typically involve:

· Act as a main interface with Site Manager/s and for carrying out site activities in project site for allied electrical & networking works

· Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site progress and the work performed by subcontractors,

· Planning the work for day to day activities w.r.t quality for the electrical and networking work and efficiently organizing with customer and their representatives the required permissions, gate passes, work front clearances for smooth execution of work and meet project timelines

· the site for quality check , checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of work performed as per specifications/approved documents shared by project team

· Supervise the quality check during unloading of Materials and stacking them in Storage area

· Maintain records w.r.t quality check of Material Receipts.

· Supervise the installation of new light fixture & testing commissioning of all the equipment / material covered in the project scope

· Preparing MIS reports w.r.t quality check as required by project team;

· Wear safety PPE & ensure the sub-contractor teams are complying with the same as per EHS policy.

· Overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site;

· Capable to manage multiple projects with large sub-contractor teams >30 workers

· Willing to work at site include day & night working, weekends & holidays as per project requirements

· Flexible & problem solving approach

· Personally supervise receipt of material at site, segregation, rejection and return of goods with visibly damaged packaging, boxes with jingling sound and where required opening of boxes to inspect whether the product is damaged and implementation of transportation breakage claim procedure.

· Tracking and logging of training and supervision of contractor teams and ensuring their quality of workmanship.

· Able to manage site team  & different contractor team w.r.t quality and execution of work

 

Qualification and experience

Seek a professionally qualified electrical engineer (B.E) with minimum 3-4 years’ experience in similar industry and should have excellent communication skill
