Description:

 

Senior Should cost / Teardown Electronics Engineers


Job Responsibility:

• Carryout should costing and Design to Cost analysis for New Product Introduction (NPI) and Legacy Honeywell products.
• Recommend improvements to cost competitiveness,
• Optimize processes and identify cost opportunities,
• Identify alternate low cost components
• Consult with and advise product development engineers on economic alternatives for their design and suggest trade-offs.
• Should be able to work independently


Basic Qualifications:

• BE/ME - Electrical and Electronics Engineering
• 4 to 6 Years of professional experience dealing with E&E and/or electromechanical products.
• Should have executed multiple NPI and/or cost out (VAVE) programs with close interaction with manufacturing/ Suppliers/ Sales/ Service / Customers.
• Strong experience in Electrical / PCBA manufacturing.
• Core experience in product costing (E&E) using modern tools (like Procalc, DFMA) and with use of Global economics data.
• Exposure to Mechanical products is desirable.


Knowledge and Skills:

• Should have handled NPI programs
• Understanding and managing bill of materials
• Has good Sourcing experience, Techno commercial, Global business understanding.
• Manufacturing and assembly experience is highly desired.
• Fluent in Microsoft office suit
• Should have handled Component Engineering activities
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively
• Communicate project status and program needs across different levels of the organization and different operating environments
• Results focused with successful record of accomplishments through skilled use of influence,
persuasion, negotiation, and problem resolution.
• In-depth understanding of manufacturing process of mechanical. electrical and electronics parts
