Roles and Responsibility

TFS Admin and Automation Engineer

  • Administration and Support of Microsoft Team foundations (TFS)
  • Team Foundation Server 2015-2018 Administration with well-known TFS security system
  • TFS Flavor’s from Requirement Management to Deployment System
  • Configure and maintain SQL Server 2012/2014/2016 (Cluster Mechanism)
  • Configure and maintain TFS Share-Point/External Share-Point
  • Configure and maintain Reporting Services SQL Server 2012/2014/2016
  • Plan and Prepare/Maintain TFS Topologies (High Availability Concepts)
  • Planning Upgrades TFS updates
  • Planning, Designing and Deploying TFS Custom Process templates
  • TFS Customization (Work-Item Customization and Custom Controls)
  • Create and maintain Backup plans
  • Plan and prepare Custom Reports
  • Create and maintain Custom Build definitions
  • Create platforms and environments for system demonstration, testing, etc.
  • Create and maintain user accounts, permissions, and projects
  • Evaluate and validate (coordinate validation) new SW tools and upgrades used in product development
  • Troubleshoot tool problems and provide advice on tool installation and integration (in collaboration with IT/TA)
  • Tool knowledge & Integration of one or more of the Requirements Mgmt, Test Mgmt ( MTM) , Configuration Mgmt, Release mgmt., Backlog Mgmt
  • Should have good knowledge on Disaster Recovery
  • Administering Microsoft Team Foundation Server
  • Knowledge on Windows Environment
  • C# programming to build Reports and Custom Controls
  • Java Scripts knowledge would be an added advantage
  • E2E Application Life cycle management (Team Foundation Server)
  • Knowledge on Share Point
  • Knowledge on other Continuous Integration Tools (Added Advantage)
Desired candidate
Experience of handling E2E- Requirement, Backlog, Configuration, Defect, Test, Release Mgmt TFS activities M.C.A or Engineering Graduates with very good programming skills
