Roles and Responsibility

Job Description

We are looking for a person with a background in User Assistance (Information Development) and with an interest in technical tasks, or with a technical background and a strong interest in User Assistance. This person should be highly organized and have strong communication skills, as this job involves many coordinative tasks. The job involves more of coordination and technical troubleshooting, and less of authoring. Candidate should be experienced in Ixiasoft DITA CMS.

Information architecture

  • Plan the structure of the assigned SAP product(s) documentation
  • Define project deliverables, delivery channels, and the reuse strategy
  • Define containers and dependencies, create and close containers and projects in Ixiasoft DITA CMS
  • Create taxonomies, classify deliverables with metadata.
  • Provide support to doc leads and authors
  • Resolve build errors
  • Resolve customer incidents
  • Work with Primary Support experts.

Documentation Delivery

  • Define milestones together with Program Lead and communicate these to the authors and sub-docleads
  • Coordinate the delivery of documentation deliverables for assigned product(s)
  • Work together with the Product Owner and Authors to identify deliverables
  • Work together with translation agencies to ensure smooth translation of releases
  • Create and manage projects in the CMS
  • Publish documentation on Release Date
