Roles and Responsibility

Job Description:

  • Senior stakeholder management (in customer and service management / account management community)
  • SPOC to be designated by Senior operations escalation points in response to customer acknowledgement
  • Coverage hours 24/7 o Training and development of colleagues
  • Technology awareness including LAN and WAN - CCNP ? High level of customer solution awareness
  • Induction of new colleagues and go live facilitation o Ensuring MI coverage
  • Should have commendable knowledge in CCNA routing, switching, MPLS, VPN, LAN, VLAN, WAN, VRF, STP and other major networking concepts
  • Extensive knowledge on routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, HSRP, VRRP
  • Basic knowledge on DSL, VOIP and transmission would be an added advantage
  • Should hold excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • CCNA/CCNP/CCIP/ITIL certified candidates would be given preference
  • At least 2 - 3 years of experience in the ITIL driven IT management environment, preferably on the Incident Manager position
  • Good understanding of production IT Environment and IT Operations
  • Very good understanding of Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Management processes
  • Strong multi-tasking, interpersonal and teamwork skills
