Roles and Responsibility
  • HP SM Tool Configuration
  • Implementation and Configuration of HP Service Manager
  • Knowledge on core ITSM modules
  • Configure Operator, Contacts, Assign work groups and capabilities
  • Configuring SLA for interaction, Incident and Problem modules
  • Create, validate and move unload scripts across environments
  • HPSM trouble shooting and ensuring Overall system health check
  • Assigning access in HPSM
  • Creating/modifying any views/queries
  • Creation/modification of CIs, Assignment Groups, Incident types, mass closure of incidents/requests
  • Experience in Integrating HPSM with Other HP and Non HP Tools using web services and Connect IT
  • Acknowledging all incoming incidents/requests
  • Updating approvers on catalog items
  • Override approvals
  • Running manual integrations of contacts/operators
  • Should have good understanding about the tailoring tools required to implement different business requirements in HP SM
  • Should be comfortable working with RAD applications, format control, forms designer, document engine etc.
  • Take ownership of complete CMDB and Maintenance
  • Link all CR?s provided by release team to master CR
  • Approve all CR?s in worksheet provided by release team
  • Knowledge of HPSM change & Knowledge Management
  • Publish documentation in HPSM
  • HPSM group & User role Management
  • Able to discover/Validate new CI servers using Ping or SCCM
  • Able to create new CAB & perform maintenance in HPSM
  • Collaborate with the client and Service Mangers
  • Knowledge on xMatters (paging) configuration and Maintenance
