Roles & Responsibilities:

5 years of relevant experience Proven experience in the Support or Database Platform Support or Database Admin role

Prior experience in handing Big Data Platform issue is added advantage for this job.

Should be able to handle issues individually Innovative approach to solve problems and suggesting solutions Collaborate effectively with all the support groups, Data Assets Owners, Business Users and sub-systems.

Candidate should have the ability to gather details, perform problem analysis and troubleshoot issues for the different types of customer inquiries and service requests

Candidate should resolve the customer issues within the defined SLA. Self-Motivated ability to do multi-tasking efficiently Job holder

must be experienced to deal with complex inquiries raised by customers from various data sources system, ETL jobs, cutting edge technologies and must have the ability to solve the platform related production issues.

Experience in SQL is mandatory.

Experience in Linux or Unix as a user.

Experience in BigSQL will be added advantage Knowledge on DB SQL or DB2 ADMIN will be added advantage Knowledge on Incident or Service Management process

Communication skills backed up with strong Database, ETL (Data Stage) technical knowledge about the relational database and Big Data DB is the plus.

Experience in working with the production tickets using anyone of the Service Desk tool Candidate should be flexible to work in any shifts (24X7) Escalate to L3 team when documentation is insufficient to complete the tasks or do not solve the incident.
