Roles and Responsibility

Job Description:

  • Infrastructure operations and engineering experience
  • IT infrastructure knowledge of Compute, Networking and Storage is necessary
  • The Successful candidate will provide cloud operational support for all deployments globally, including ITIL Incident, Change and Problem management
  • The key job requirement is a Windows/Cloud system admin with a broad skillset that includes cutting-edge administration techniques such as scripting with languages like PowerShell

 

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with Cloud Service Operations in support of ITIL incident, Change, and Problem management
  • Align with Engineering Product Owner to collaborate on future designs, drive product improvement, and focus thinking around operational excellence
  • Liaison with Platform operation leaders in Compute/windows, Storage, and Network domains to drive operations improvements

 

Required Experience:

  • Cross-functional infrastructure experience with Systems, Storage and Networking
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows 2012 R2 and 2016 operating systems
  • Expertise in Virtualization technologies - Hyper-V preferred
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Azure infrastructure services
  • Experience in SCOM & System Center
  • Knowledge on MS Clustering, FCM, VMM and CAU
  • Knowledge of the operating models for private cloud, IaaS, and PaaS technologies
  • Perform troubleshooting analysis
  • Previous infrastructure operations experience
  • Knowledge of Windows server operating systems
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Proven experience with automation and/or scripting language (PowerShell, Chef, Puppet, etc.)
