Job Title: AutoSys Batch Services Consultant

Location: Bangalore

Experience: 3-5 yrs

Notice Period: 15-30days / Immediate

Primary Skills: Midrange TWS, ITIL Standards

Secondary Skills: UNIX and Windows troubleshooting

 

Job Description for AutoSys Batch Services Consultant:

Maintain the Midrange AutoSys Tools environments for existing business by meeting with and assisting Client and DXC support teams to install or modify the needed AutoSys agents, provide support during maintenance, and troubleshoot issues incidents.

 Maintains the AutoSys environments to ensure standards are followed, ensuring seamless product integration while adhering to the client’s computing environment standards. 

 Client Capability Lead (CCL):

Trusted advisor inside and outside team/technology area

Lead or work as part of a global team, which may be virtual, global, and/or multi- functional, and addressing highly complex issues.


Additional Requirements:

  • Provide support to production and non-production environments.
  • Regularly assist in the technical assessment and delivery of specific technical solutions to the customer.
  • Collects and determines data from appropriate sources to assist in determining customer needs. Responds to requests for technical information from customers.
  • Engages in technical problem solving across multiple technologies; often needs to develop new methods to apply to the situation.
  • Owns and manages knowledge sharing within a community.
  • Ensures team members support knowledge sharing and re-use requirements of day to day activities.

Qualifications

Education and Experience Required:


3 - 5 years of professional experience and a Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related area of study; without a degree, three additional years of relevant professional experience (7 years in total).

Knowledge and Skills Required:
 

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with Midrange TWS
  • Previous experience with enterprise schedulers with interfaces/adaptors to SAP environments
  • Provide 24x7 on-call support within a structured rotation.
  • Excellent English skills
  • Ability to work from multiple ticket queues and adhere to problem and change management requirements
  • Knowledge of ITIL standards
  • Ability to learn and support other Batch products
  • Very good understanding of Batch Management end to end offerings.
  • Basic UNIX and Windows troubleshooting
  • Ability to multi task and support multiple customer needs each day
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environments
  • CCL Knowledge and Skills Required:

 

  • Ability to communicate with client and team, representing the team to the client
  • Organization Skills to manage projects and team members
  • Able to build relationships with the client and account team
