Roles and Responsibility
  • Sr. Technical Specialist - UNIX Operations
  • Provides multi-level Technical support for diagnosing reproducing and fixing UNIX Hardware and OS issues/problems
  • Responsible for managing Server related Incidents/Service Requests and Change Requests within the defined SLA
  • High level of proficiency in UNIX administration and Troubleshooting
  • Provide recommendations to improve and address/lead critical issues and root cause analysis
  • Actively contributes to the troubleshooting performance tuning of UNIX servers
  • Perform necessary UNIX infrastructure maintenance activities and migration as required
  • Ability to identify scalability performance and integration issues and propose optimal solutions
  • Should be able to collaborate across products/vendors and geography to come up with a compelling solution
  • Able to provide technical guidance to other team members
