JD of Storage Administrator:

 

 

Job Overview:

Job Function:

 

Experienced Storage administrator with exposure to:

 

NAS Technologies - NetApp 7-mode, CDOT / Oracle ZFS appliances / EMC Isilon (all or any) SAN Technologies Hitachi /EMC HDS VSP/HUS/AMS/USPV/EMC-XtremeIO/HP 3-Par Administration of physical and virtual storage infrastructure in complex heterogeneous environments.

 

Remotely troubleshoot and manage Storage (SAN/NAS) technologies.

 

SAN Fabric Management Cisco/Brocade Experience.

 

Host side Troubleshooting skills Unix/Windows Multi-pathing software.

 

Day-to-day operational tasks to support of our internal customers and external vendor partners.

 

Strong troubleshooting skills in SAN and NAS technologies.

 

OCUM: Management of physical and virtual storage environments using integrated workflows and policy-driven automation.

 

Capable to monitor, report, manage security, performance management, and role-based access control.

Minimum Qualifications:

Management of Global SAN/NAS Infrastructure Incident management, good knowledge of ticket management tools.

 

Be a team player. Ability to manage/handle Sev 1 tickets on priority Support 24X7.shifts and Oncall Excellent written and verbal communication skills required as well as analytical/problem solving ability.

 

Time management and organizational skills Ability to learn and adapt to new skills

Education:

 

Required: Bachelor's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and /or relevant experience. Storage certifications for NAS technologies would be a plus.
