Experience building data governance and security using core Horton
works tools like Knox, Ranger, and Kerberos
Performance tuning for Hadoop,
spark
Understanding of containerization framework
- docker, Mesos
Basic Understanding of data science concepts
Experience building big data stack in cloud including ha/DR/data
synch strategies using Kafka/NiFi
Ability to support Infrastructure engineer for infrastructure
automation of big data stack
Strong familiarity with Hortonworks HDP stack even if there is not
a working experience on HDP as long as engineer has equivalent open stack
experience
Experience with REST-based web services using JSON formatted data
Good understanding of Object Oriented and Functional programming
Solid understanding of the web technology - HTTP, cookies, REST
