Roles and Responsibility

Job Description:

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will work in an agile development environment working closely with our Middleware, UI Framework and Consumer Premises Equipment teams to test and deliver innovative new features. Taking responsibility of the execution and delivery of the assigned test activities within the agreed timescales and to the level of acceptance required by internal and external customers.

 

Experience and Skills Required:

·         Knowledge of Digital Video Systems & Transmission protocols - DVB-S/S2, DVB-C, DVB-T, QAM, IPTV

·         Knowledge of MPEG & DVB Standards & testing recommendations

·         Knowledge of Digital Video Head End Architectures & Setup

·         Experience of Test automation frameworks in similar domain

·         Knowledge of programming languages, e.g. Python & Shell scripting

·         Experience in UI testing, API testing, regression testing, and integration testing

·         Familiar with Agile methodologies & working knowledge of defect management and collaboration tools

·         ISEB/ISTQB Foundation/Advanced Level Software Testing
