Job Description, Key Roles and Responsibilities:

OPEX Management Functions: Manage ITD Opex financial records for International Transmission Delivery terrestrial capacity and sites to include:

·         Updating and maintaining financial records (Cost negotiation, setup/installation cost, Lease cost, Details of cables, racks etc.) for capacity leases and IRU, site space, site power, and IP Peering contracts

·         Production of financial reports

·         Clearly detail and report on the impact of the individual capacity leases

·         Understand content of Business Case, Contract, Order, and service Completion Documents and record in financial data base

·         Compile capacity lease information as required by planning teams

 

Power and Space management:

·         Point of contact for power and space requests from account teams

·         Direct liaison required with ITD engineer responsible for particular sites

·         Maintain power and space site records

·         Support ITD Implementation engineers for delivery, cessation and reroutes of circuits and small network builds

 

Implementation Part (Transmission planning, design and Implementation)

·         Understand details of supplier invoice; liaise with suppliers in case of queries

·         Manage 3rd party capacity delivery, including order form details, supplier updates until successful delivery

·         Issue cabling instructions to 3rd party Field Engineers as necessary

·         When connectivity issues occur during circuit provide process, liaise with parties concerned until successful delivery

·         Assist Field Operations to maintain site and site access lists details

 

Tie cable allocation job description:

·         Point of contact for Port allocation requests from Stake holders - Direct liaison required with ITD EU engineer responsible for particular sites

·         Updating and maintaining Port records for global sites with MMR details

·         Understand the request and allocating the port at Vodafone end (Connection between Vodafone POP to MMR room)

·         Complete the Port allocation, once Circuit reference is provided by requestors

·         ITD EU tie cable team is responsible for updating cessation port details and port migration details in trackers

·         Responsible for requesting Work List to get the Tie cables build in inventories
