Responsible for transforming
large amounts of diverse data into descriptive knowledge using advanced
quantitative analysis
Formulate and apply
mathematical modeling and other optimization methods to develop and interpret
information that assists with decision making;
Utilize big data technologies
to develop & deploy advanced analytics solutions for high throughput
research strategies;
Work collaboratively with
interdisciplinary scientists to address analytical scientific breakthroughs in
the field of machine learning;
Present compelling, validated
analysis to all levels of organization, including peers, senior management and
internal customers to drive both strategic and operational changes in business
Experience and Skills Required:
3+ years of experience in
Machine Learning, Statistical Modeling, Data Mining, Estimation and Prediction,
Boosting and Bagging techniques, Bayesian analysis, Forecast analysis
Knowledge of state of the art
techniques such as DNN, CNTK, TensorFlow, etc..
Excellent skills in with
programming languages like R or Python
Background in big data
technologies including Apache Hadoop, Spark and IaaS such as AWS and Google
Cloud is highly desirable
Strong business aptitude, the
ability to rapidly learn new problem domains, and become conversant in the
domain with subject matter experts
Strong organizational,
interpersonal, and proven problem solving abilities
Proven ability to communicate
(both written and verbal) complex analyses in clear, precise and actionable
manner
Creative, proactive, bold and
out-of-box thinking
Experience in agriculture,
supply chain management and/or laboratory science
