Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead application development
teams and ensure alignment with the overall TSSC strategy Receive
Specifications from Business Intelligence Competence Centre (BICC)
Gather correct requirements
that are derived out of those specifications
Work closely with business
and technical unit to ensure a common understanding of requirements
You have to understand how a
normalized Tel Co Data Model works to get a clear view on specifications and
requirements
Create the Low Level Design
for the specifications implement these specifications by using the
configuration tools (Ab Initio ACE Ab Initio MDWP Shell) in place
You have to understand the
different configuration options to be creative regarding special specifications
Besides configuration custom
development need to be done that requires a deep knowledge of Ab Initio
development (Ab Initio Co-Operating System Ab Initio GDE Shell Perl)
Work closely with product vendors
in case defects in the products (Ab Initio MDW Ab Initio MDWP) are detected
Perform a Unit Test on the
implementations you have done Perform a System Test on the implementation of
other developers these again demand a deep understanding of the complete flow
Implement new and changed
applications in development test preproduction and production environments
Ensure proper implementation
in production environments by supporting deployment team Ensure proper
functionality of technical application interfaces
