Roles and Responsibility

8+ Years of experience in Level 3 support experience in RedHat/CentOS Administration and Support

3+ years of experience in Technical Lead or SME on Linux Administration and support

Experience in Cisco UCS hardware setup, HP Blade chassis and Dell Blade and Rack mount server experience

Worked on patching servers with Satellite and Spacewalk servers

Installation of Linux OS on physical servers (Cisco UCS blades)

Configuration and hardening of RedHat, CentOS, SuSe as per the organization standards

Good knowledge of Oracle Real Application Cluster builds from the OS standpoint

ASM Disk handling, Addition/deletion of disks from the OS layer for Oracle RAC performance tuning in Linux servers / Application experience

Must have experience with server virtualization with specific knowledge of VMWare vSphere 5.0 and 5.5

Knowledge on TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP

Enterprise server management experience

Experience in On-Call support/ P1 incident handling / Escalation handling / RCA Finding

Shell / Bash Scripting experience
