This position will be a part of a large client delivery team
and is an integral part of the firm’s strategy to build scalability and improve
efficiency of PMO processes. As a Project Coordinator, you will work closely
with the senior leadership team and lead the execution of processes across
various functions viz. Finance, SLA compliance, Training, Billing, etc.
Below is a detailed list of key responsibilities:
Strategic activities:
Manage PMO team to enable smooth delivery of the client
engagements
Define operational models for PMO with standard operating
procedures, governance criteria, roles and responsibilities
Provide thought leadership and innovation, advising the team
on implementation
Participate in business and strategy development
PMO activities:
Own PMO processes and tools (e. g, project charter, ticket
management system, issue management, communication and reporting, knowledge
management, etc.)
Manage Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and coordinate
with the team to manage project plan, RAID log, RTM, etc.
Coordinate with team members to track the adherence on
project processes and ensure 100% compliance on all the program SLAs
Facilitate regular updating of project performance summaries
(e.g., financials, utilization, SLA metrics)
Oversee Program Risk Management process to ensure timely and
accurate reporting of risks
Maintain SOP documents repository and ensure timely updates
and version control
Prepare & Maintain Weekly Adhoc Task Tracking Reports
Facilitate continuous improvement leveraging various
internal or external assets in consensus with key stakeholders
Manage onboarding/off boarding, training and team compliance
Manage asset (client laptops/phones) record-keeping
Manage PMO assets and be a single point of contact for the team
on any queries on relevant topics
Coordinate with key stakeholders for timely renewal of legal
documents and flag upcoming billing milestones and pre-emptively communicate to
program manager
Team Coordination activities:
Coordinate regular cross-office team meetings between
offshore and onshore team
Facilitate induction of new team members into the team by
coordinating kick-off meetings and getting appropriate system accesses
Coordinate knowledge sharing sessions
Client Coordination:
Follow-up with client’s PMO team on any issues with the PMO
tools/processes that are shared across and client (e.g., ticket management
system, etc.)
Work directly with client’s PMO team on updating and sharing
performance summaries (financials, utilization, SLA metrics) with key
stakeholders
Collaborate with the client’s admin/support group to set up
meetings & seminars
Key Competencies:
Graduate with 7-10 years plus of experience in Project
Management, or a Post Graduate in MBA with 5 years plus of experience in
Project Management
Good knowledge of Project Management Processes and tools
Proficient on MPP, MS Excel with working knowledge of
PowerPoint and Word
Good verbal and written communication, pleasing personality
Customer focused, good interpersonal skills
Organized and self- motivated, extremely high on initiative,
proactive
Prior experience of running PMO for more than 50 people
preferred
Certifications:
Project Management Certification like CAPM/PMP/Prince2 is
preferred
Good understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles (Green Belt
certification preferred)
