Experience and Skills
Required:
·
Approximately 4 6 years of
working experience as a support role in Linux environment
·
Good Experience supporting
Linux Platforms (Ubuntu / RHEL)
·
Volume management using
LVM/Veritas
·
Very good troubleshooting
skills on OS, LVM, Security and application specific log debugging
·
Splunk expertise would be an added
advantage
·
Strong Understanding of
networking (LAN / WAN technologies) and TCP/IP
·
Scripting skills (Shell,
Perl)
·
Exposure to Web based
Applications
·
Good understanding of JAVA
Internals / JVM
·
Ability to resolve issues and
handle conflicting priorities in a dynamic environment
·
Ability to manage own tasks
and work unsupervised
·
Lateral mind and high fault
finding skills to be able to process and diagnose situations quickly and
effectively
