Roles and Responsibility

·               High-level knowledge of IP networks (essential).

·               Some Knowledge of Application Performance Management Technologies (APM) At least CCNA (desirable)

·               An understanding of Local Area & Wide Area Networks covering all of the following (essential):

1.       LAN Technologies

2.       SD-WAN

3.       MSP, MPLS, IPVPN

4.       Routing protocols (EIGRP, BGP, OSPF etc.)

5.       QoS/Cos

6.       VoIP (desirable)

7.       Application Performance Management reporting (IPANEMA, Cisco AVC, Riverbed)

 

·               Hands on Cisco router experience (desirable)

·               Configuration Management (CMDB Skills)

·               Experience of Network Management tools, SMARTS, Netcool, Infovista,   Ipanema (desirable)

·               PC literate, using Microsoft Office suite (essential)

·               Knowledge of Vodafone products, services, systems and processes (desirable)
