Roles and Responsibility

·         Expert in Automating infrastructure deployments, Continuous delivery (CI/CD) using Jenkins, Artifactory, Docker, Chef/Ansible

·         Experience in building pipelines for OpenShift and GCP environments

·         Good to have Experience with Code scanning tools link Black duck

·         Programming applications to be optimized to work within constructs of a GCP public cloud environment

·         Developing templates or scripts to automate everyday developer or operations functions

·         Monitor and maintain multiple CI/CD pipeline automation (DevOps) environments based on client requirements

·         Setting up or managing backups and patching across the environments

 

Required Skills:

·         Experience on GCP Cloud, Software Artifactory using Jfrog tools, Git/GitHub, Python

·         Should have knowledge on IaaC like Terraform and Cloudformation Templates

·         Write scripts and automation using Perl/Python/Groovy/Java/Bash

·         Understanding of multi-tier application architectures

·         Experience with different database types like RDS and NoSQL

·         Ability to develop, test and maintain programming environments and architectural standards

·         Experience with cloud automation and container tools like bash scripting, Ansible, Docker, Chef or Puppet

·         Foundational understanding of application development lifecycle and using tools like ANT, Maven, Gradle and Version control (SVN OR GIT OR Bitbucket)

·         Experience with Code Coverage Tools like SonarQube

·         Basic understanding and experience configuring, managing and supporting applications using tools such as OpsWorks and Datadog

·         Experience with working in an agile development lifecycle and continuous integration processes using tools such as Jenkins

·         Experience in creation of CI/CD automation using either of these tools -Jenkins OR Hudson OR Bamboo

·         Experience or Exposure to implementing DevOps for SaaS applications

·         Working knowledge on Branching Strategy

·         Experience or exposure to Test Driven Development Experience (Junit /TestNG)

·         Experience or exposure to Behavior Driven Development Experience (Cucumber / Selenium)

·         Experience of developing automations with YML, Groovy, Shell

·         Exposure or the foundational understanding of Docker /Swarm /Kubernetes / Containers
