Roles and Responsibility

·         The Compiler Test Engineer is responsible for validating the compiler phases by generating test cases-C/C++, filing bugs, triaging issues of high-performance production level C/C++ compilers

·         BS with 4+ yrs of experience in tool chain validation (Compiler, assembler)

·         Experience in any scripting language [Preferred Python]

·         Experience in any tool automation

·         Experience in black box and white box testing

·         C, C++ programming, debugging experience, Fortran Programming can be an added advantage

·         Experience in Linux OS

·         Experience in applying testing methodologies in compiler domain

·         Good understanding of any assembly language

·         Good to have experience in triage of compiler related problems

·         Good understanding on different phases of the compiler

·         Knowledge of language standards C/ C++/ Fortran and Open MP

·         Experience in collecting code coverage metrics

·         Experience in triage memory leak problems

·         Experience in system tool chain like compiler, assembler and runtime
