efforts associated with embedded products

Individual must have the
ability to read and understand system Security requirements, design approaches
based on those requirements, identify the security test cases and perform
different types of security testing at different phases
·
Candidate is expected to have
a background in product life cycle, design products, troubleshooting and will
be involved in all aspects of the product development process (concept, design,
validation and production)
·
There will be frequent
interaction with project management both locally and overseas and need to work
with teams at global locations across different time zones
·
Individual must be
self-directed, highly motivated, eager to learn, and organized with strong
analytical thinking and problem solving skills, and an ability to work on
multiple projects and functions in a team environment globally
·
Expertise in Security Testing
of embedded products on all phases of product life cycle
Experience Required:
·
Minimum 4+ years of Cyber
Security experience in product based company
·
Work closely
with stakeholders to understand the product security requirements and use cases
in order to deliver high quality software on schedule for production releases
·
In-depth knowledge of
functional testing and application security testing
·
Implement, test and operate
advanced software security techniques in compliance with technical reference
architecture
·
Perform on-going penetration
testing and code review to improve software security
·
Expertise in testing
security-focused products and internet technologies and implementing Open
Source Tools to perform Security Testing
·
Should be able to analyze
application security vulnerabilities found through testing and collaborate with
development and other internal technical teams to provide mitigation steps to
reduce the risk
·
Detailed technical knowledge
of techniques, standards and state-of-the art capabilities for authentication
and authorization, applied cryptography, security vulnerabilities and
remediation
·
Interest in all aspects of
security research and development
·
Competent in test planning,
test execution for functional, Integration and system testing
·
Create and execute test plans
and test cases based upon functional and product design specifications and
report results as per QA policies and procedures
·
Help, define, promote and
ensure adherence to Quality assurance processes such as test plan reviews,
defect management, risk/complexity analysis and regression test maintenance
·
Work closely with developers
on assigned test projects and help in delivering quality software
·
Contributes ideas on product
and process improvements
·
Participates and contribute
in design review sessions
·
Flexible to work on manual
testing and automation based on business need
Skills Required:
·
Expertise in static and
dynamic Firmware Analysis
·
Knowledge on S-SDLC
·
Experience in testing
database driven applications including data validation using SQL
·
Automation testing experience
is an added plus
·
Programming skills on C#,
Java or any development language is a plus
·
Excellent written and verbal
communication skills
·
CEH/OSCP certification would
be an added advantage
