The employee is responsible
for assisting in the receiving and shipping department in logging all incoming
inventory purchases

The inventory control
professional is responsible for classifying, labeling and warehousing all inventories
for future use

They must maintain a record
of all transfers and disposal
·
The inventory professional
must implement and follow a control system to reduce damage, breakage and
inventory obsolescence
·
The employee must complete
weekly/ monthly physical inventory counts as required by company policy
·
The inventory control
professional must reconcile the inventory records for a complete and accurate
count. Proper and accurate inventory policies helps deter theft and inventory
misuse
·
Assists loss prevention
departments with any investigation when required
·
Interact directly with
internal customers or external service provider for repairs of defective unit
·
Should have fair idea on IT
asset lifecycle - Procurement, provisioning, lifecycle, retirement and
disposals
·
Fair knowledge on MI
reporting and documentation
·
Good hold on MS office tools
·
Process knowledge on STPI,
Customs and SEZ formalities
·
Experience in managing
medium\large scale financial IT asset operation
·
Ensure SLAs defined for the
IT Asset team are met
·
Position requires candidate
to work on weekend for store re-arrangement, maintenance, relocations, projects
and capturing deployed asset details
·
Organizes and maintains
warehouse and stores for efficient material storage and handling; maintains
labeling system on each stock item; manually stocks inventory shelving with stock
items received or returned
·
Coordinates, implements, and
performs Annual audits for inventory accuracy, problem resolution, and
reconciliation of discrepancies
·
Monitor availability of spare
parts/printer consumables and adjust stock levels based on the needs of the
business
·
Must be detail oriented and
pay close attention to accuracy
·
Effective time management and
the ability to prioritize
·
Strong written and verbal
communication skills
·
Skilled in the use of Excel,
Word, power point, Outlook and inventory control software
·
Work as Individual
contributor as well as show leadership by monitoring/training junior members
·
Should have minimum
experience of 4 - 5 years in the relevant field
