1. Proactive search for potential hires to fill current and future job openings
2. Pre-screen candidates with skills that match the roles they're recruiting for.
3. Collect valuable information like market intelligence, salary, candidate comments etc
4. Using social media networks (e.g. LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter) to look for and connect with potential candidates.
5. Send recruiting emails and follow up with candidates
6. Ask for referrals from internal and external networks for hard-to-fill roles
7. Develop a network of potential candidates and industry professionals
8. Key in candidate information in our Applicant Tracking System and other internal databases
9. Measure and report on recruiting metrics, like source of hire and time-to-fill
10. Develop candidate talent pipelines through sourcing channels, recruitment campaigns, internet searches, networking groups, social media, database search, and referrals
11. Fully explain the steps of the interview process to candidates so that candidates are clear on expectations
12. Familiarity to work in Glassdoor, Vault and other candidate platforms to solicit candidate feedback and present insights
13. Gaining market intelligence including and understanding of the talent landscape in targeted geographic locations
Job Responsibility
1. Proven work experience as a Sourcing Specialist, Sourcer or similar role
2. Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS’s like Taleo )
3. Familiarity with MS Office and reporting using MS Excel, MS Power point
4. Familiarity with social networks, professional sites and resume databases
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
6. Good time-management skills with the ability to handle various open positions simultaneously
