8+ years of experience with commercial and open
source, enterprise-grade database engines (such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL)
as a DBA or architect supporting production, mission critical deployments
·
Experience with migrating mission critical
database environments across different platforms including AWS
·
Experience working with high availability,
disaster recovery and DB tuning strategies including parameters, resources etc
·
Expertise in database backup and recovery
·
Ability to tune SQL queries and PL/SQL objects
·
2+ years of experience working with AWS
·
Knowledge of Azure is a Plus
·
2+ years of experience with architecting and
designing solutions using cloud technology paradigms
·
Experience in most of the ideally used services
like RDS, DMS, S3, EC2, VPC, EFS etc is mandatory
·
Working knowledge of applications including
connectivity, networking, load balancing etc is a definite plus
·
Preferred to have experience in
Shell/Perl/Python Scripting
·
Demonstrated consulting skills, ideally through
previous roles as a Consultant or Architect, working directly with customers,
partners or third-party vendors
·
Demonstrated ability to think strategically
about business, product, and technical challenges
