Scope of Work / Duties of Consultant:
The resource shall support the Cloud Solutions team, on projects or ongoing support services, as per
arising needs.
Required Technical Skills:
The resource MUST have the following skills and experience:
- Hands on experience with planning, development, migration, and integration of applications and
- services from on-premises infrastructure to cloud-based Platform-as-a-Service and
- Infrastructure-as-a-Service services.
- Solid understanding and hands-on experience of AWS & Azure Account Structure, Core
- Organization Services and IAM;
- Experience with migration discovery, profiling, migration, and operations technologies and tools
- (CloudEndure, ASR, RISC Cloudscape, etc.).
- Leading or involved in highly available and fault-tolerant enterprise and web-scale software
- applications, e.g. ERP, SAP, etc.
- Previous exposure to multiple databases like Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL etc.
- Deep understanding of application modernization approach including containerization, APIs and
- microservices.
- Hands-on experience of automation technologies such as Terraform and configuration
- management such as Ansible.
- Understanding of FinOps and cloud optimization techniques.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, i.e. ability to present to C-Level executives.
- Ability to produce documentation for Agile delivery
- Previous exposure to Pre-Sales activities.
- Knowledge of ITIL service management methodology
- Excellent interpersonal and client service skills
- The resource SHOULD have the following skills and experience:
- Scripting knowledge with one of the following Python/Java/Go (or similar languages) and source
- code control like Git.
- Exposure to software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile/iterative methodologies
- Knowledge of container architectures and deployments in cloud environments (Docker,
- Kubernetes, etc.).
- Required Soft Skills:
- Ability to work independently, following the objectives and strategy defined by the UNICC Head
- of Cloud Services.
- Ability to distill complex problems and drive toward creative solutions;
- Ability to interact with customers, ability to assess and gather customer requirements, comparing
- pros and cons, to propose best suited option and turn them into solution designs;
- Willingness to learn on the job
