Roles and Responsibility

Role: Linux/Windows Engineer

 

Skills: Experience in Linux or Windows or any infrastructure background

  

Description:

 

  • 1.         Experience with Kubernetes Cluster design and Implementation.
  • 2.         Minimum 5+ years of experience with Kubernetes Administration - On-Premise cluster and Cloud (GKE / EKS).
  • 3.         Strong Knowledge in containerization and its best practices related to Image security and Performance.
  • 4.         Experience with various Kubernetes Add-ons and Controllers. The following components are preferable.
  • a.         Admission Controller
  • b.         Calico NW and NW Policy
  • c.         Ingress Controllers
  • d.         Starboard Operation for Vulnerability scan or Similar Tool.
  • e.         External Secrets Operator
  • f.         Monitoring (example: kube-prometheus-stack)

g.         Kubecost etc..

5. Experience in HELM based deployments for Apps, Technical/Infra components etc..

6. Experience or Strong Knowledge with ARGO-CD and Service Mesh (ISTIO)

7. Cluster deployments and maintenance through Infra as a Code (Example: Terraform).

8. Strong Knowledge in Linux Operating System and scripting

9. Experience in Scripting (OS, Python, Ansible) for various automation

10. Cluster Monitoring and Logging

11. Designing and Managing Cluster High Availability and Disaster Recovery.

12. Strong Knowledge in Kubernetes Security - Access Control, Pod Security, RBAC etc..
