Objective: The Operations Analyst, Marketing and Digital is responsible for business process analysis, documentation, and aid in the execution of operational and system improvements in the areas of Marketing and Digital Marketing. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Operations and Analytics in the Operations department, but works closely with the Marketing and Digital Marketing stakeholders as support on various opportunities for improvement, converting data and results into actionable business decisions, while ensuring consistency with company strategies, commitments, and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Use Business Process Management (BPM methodologies) to analyse and map ‘as-is’ processes across client& Co.’s Marketing and Digital Marketing departments to identify opportunities for improvement and propose a better ‘to-be’ state.
• Assist with the implementation of new and/or improved technologies and automation by gathering and
documenting requirements, defining requirements to IT, testing, and providing feedback on system solutions
• Rollout new and/or improved processes and systems by training and/or coaching Marketing and Digital
Marketing team on technologies and best practices needed to effectively execute processes in a way that meets organizational objectives.
• Support Operations, Marketing, and Digital Marketing stakeholders with various projects as needed.
Experience and Skills required:
- At least 2-5 years of previous related experience. Recent college graduates will be considered if they have specific marketing operations or process improvement background along with internship experience.
- Highly proficient in MS Word, Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, Charts/Table Summary, etc.), Visio / Draw.io (or other process mapping tool), and Asana (or other Project Management tools)
- Knowledge of Business Process Management preferred but not required
- Communicates effectively both orally and in writing
- Strong organizational, planning and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage various projects at one time
- Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong quantitative and analytical problem-solving skills
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and make constructive suggestions for change
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s in business or Marketing (with focus on operations/process improvement, data analysis and management), Industrial Engineering, or related field
