Roles and Responsibility

Job Title: Senior security analyst

Experience: 3 to 5 years

Notice period: Immediate to 15 days

Location: Gurgaon

JD:

·       This is a senior role within the Access Control Design team and you are responsible for Identity Governance activities centrally for, including myID Role Management using myID. The role involves:

·       Hands-on creation, modification and removal of roles, entitlements, workgroups, and applications in myID (collectively and generically called onboarding). This includes engaging with colleagues to refine and develop role-based access artefacts to onboard their applications onto myID.

·       Contributing to the build-out of tools, techniques and innovations underpinning technical processes through scripting and automation

·       Providing myID role management consulting services to colleagues

You will:

·       Be responsible for ACD focused outcomes and performing this role purpose.

·       Define and refine process documentation

·       Assist as an individual contributor during agile sprints, to assess the quality and readiness of colleague requests as candidates for a future sprint and drive portfolios of colleague engagements to resolution/completion

·       Automating otherwise manual activities and improving the overall IAM control consistency and coverage across the bank

·       Collaborated across various technology and business teams / areas to better understand challenges and enhancement opportunities, balanced with a risk and control focus.

You will also:

·       Understand  Risk, Audit and Compliance policy

·       Be a proven team player willing to work in a fast-paced agile environment

·       Have strong communication skills with the ability to work closely with staff across the business

·       Have an attention to detail and outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills

·       Provide feedback on ACD initiatives and colleague engagements.

·       Report to Manager, ACD, and you will also assist and support peer Senior Security Analysts and supervising Security Analysts, as required and in a collaborative fashion. This role has no direct reports in a formal HR sense, however it may include the oversight of security analyst’s work and peer mentoring. 

·       Experience in a fast-paced Agile team.

·       Exposure to some of the technologies we use, in particular SailPoint IIQ.

·       Ideally you have worked in IT before in a similar role and already have 2-3 years’ experience in IAM/cybersecurity, strong and growing collaboration skills, a strong eye for detail and the ability to own your own portfolio of work, but be able to track and track Security Analysts work to provide thought leadership, guidance, quality control and oversight of their work.

·       It is expected that the role holder will have the following experience:

·       Scripting experience (Python, PowerShell)

·       Experience with SailPoint IIQ

·       Stakeholder engagement skills, a.k.a. soft, people skill

·       The position holder will be required to be deeply familiar with the following technologies:

·       SailPoint IIQ (aka myID)

·       Service Management ticketing platforms and processes, e.g. Service Now

·       Microsoft Active Directory

·       Collaboration and reporting tools, e.g. Confluence

·       Scripting, e.g. Python, PowerShell

·       Automation/orchestration/repository tools, e.g. Jenkins, Artifactory, GitHub.

Qualification Requirements

·       Tertiary qualification in a Technology discipline or related field

·       Qualifications and/or certifications in identity & access management and/or cybersecurity are highly valued.

·       Provide and exercise security best practice in the undertaking of their day-to-day responsibilities,

·       Identify and implement process improvement opportunities within the team

·       Actively identify, report, and implement risk remediation tasks as appropriate to their role.

·       Design, develop and implement in collaboration with Mainframe Identity Service Security Architects.              

·       Provides Services to:

·       IT Asset/Application Teams, Project teams.

 

Collaborates with:

·       Technology  Business Users

·       Group Security colleagues

·       Group Security management:

·       Manager, Access Control Design

·       Head of Identity and Access Management

·       Executive, Platforms and Operations

·       Responsible for assisting in the onboarding activities in myID, e.g. Hands-on creation, modification and removal of roles, entitlements, workgroups, and applications in myID

·       Management of information in our technical repositories, libraries, script and code base.
