Job Title: Automation Test Engineer

JD:
Responsibilities:
· Work closely with product manager
and developer to understand product requirement and design.
· Document detailed functional and
integration test cases. Coordinate with the developer, product manager and
other business stakeholders on test case review, identify missing and complex
test case scenarios.
· Test execution, Publish test report and
coordinate with product/program stakeholders.
· Analyze server logs, DB and provide
other relevant details with a bug.
· Track Quality metrics, like defect
densities and open defect counts.
· Develop mock/stub to test the
functionality of a component in isolation.
Qualifications
Required:
· Bachelors in computer science or a
related engineering discipline
· 6+ years of experience in Quality
Engineering
· Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies,
tools, and processes
· Experience in writing clear, concise
and comprehensive test plans and test cases
· Experience in testing of APIs, Micro
services, Web app
· Hands-on coding experience in Java.
Can write efficient, modular, and maintainable code.
· Experience with open-source testing
tool/framework like Selenium, Rest Assured, Karate, Cucumber BDD, Testing, etc.
· Experience in working on Linux/Unix
environment
· Solid Knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, and
pub-sub technologies
· Knowledge of Git, Jenkins, CI/CD,
Azure DevOps
· Experience working in an Agile/Scrum
development process
· Outstanding problem solving, troubleshooting
and debugging skills
· Good oral and written communication
skills
· Great team player and able to work
efficiently with minimal supervision
Must Have
Skills:
· Java, Rest Assured / Karate
