Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with development teams,
architects, and project managers to understand performance requirements and
objectives.
· Design and develop performance test
scripts using LoadRunner (LR scripting) to simulate various load conditions,
including load testing, stress testing, and scalability testing.
· Execute performance tests and
monitor system performance metrics using LoadRunner and other performance
monitoring tools.
· Analyze test results, identify
performance bottlenecks, and work with development teams to troubleshoot and
resolve performance issues.
· Provide recommendations for
performance optimizations, system tuning, and infrastructure improvements based
on test results and analysis.
· Create comprehensive performance
test reports, including test plans, test scripts, test execution results, and
performance analysis reports.
· Stay updated with industry trends,
best practices, and emerging technologies related to performance testing,
LoadRunner, and performance monitoring tools.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer
Science, Engineering, or related field.
· 4 to 8 years of experience in
performance testing and optimization of web-based applications.
· Strong proficiency in LoadRunner
toolset, including LR scripting for performance test script development.
· Experience in designing and
executing performance test scenarios for load testing, stress testing, and
scalability testing.
· Knowledge of performance monitoring
tools and techniques to analyze system performance metrics.
· Familiarity with scripting languages
such as Python, JavaScript, or Shell scripting for test automation and custom
tool development.
· Understanding of web technologies,
protocols (HTTP, HTTPS), and client-server architectures.
· Excellent analytical,
problem-solving, and communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and
collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
Qualifications:
· Master's degree in Computer Science
or related field.
· Certification in performance testing
(e.g., ISTQB Performance Testing Certification).
· Experience with cloud platforms
(AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
· Knowledge of database performance
tuning and optimization techniques.
· Experience with CI/CD pipelines and
continuous performance testing practices.
· Strong understanding of software
development methodologies, agile practices, and DevOps principles.
