Roles and Responsibility

Job Title: SAP General Ledger Consultant

Experience: 6-10 Years

Notice period: Immediate to 15 days

Location: Bangalore

Responsibilities:

·       Lead and participate in SAP S/4HANA General Ledger (GL) module implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.

·       Develop and maintain the Business Blueprint, conduct As-Is and To-Be Analysis, perform GAP Analysis, and provide Post-Implementation Support.

·       Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.

·       Configure SAP General Ledger accounts (FI-G/L), taxes, accounts payable (FI-A/P), wire payments, bank reconciliation, intercompany matching reconciliation, payment remittance, payment advice, PO Accrual Engine, JE Workflow, Multi-Banking, and FI-AA module.

·       Collaborate with the technical team on the development of RICEFW objects (reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, workflows).

·       Conduct workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer sessions for end-users on SAP GL functionalities and best practices.

·       Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues related to SAP GL module.

·       Stay updated with SAP S/4HANA advancements, new features, and industry best practices related to General Ledger accounting.

Required Skills:

·       6-10 years of hands-on experience as an SAP General Ledger (GL) consultant.

·       Experience working on at least two full lifecycle implementation projects in SAP S/4HANA.

·       Proficiency in SAP GL module configuration including FI-G/L accounts, taxes, FI-A/P, wire payments, bank reconciliation, intercompany reconciliation, payment remittance, payment advice, PO Accrual Engine, JE Workflow, Multi-Banking, and FI-AA module.

·       Ability to prepare functional specifications and collaborate with the technical team on RICEFW development.

·       Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial processes, and SAP GL functionalities.

·       Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

·       Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

·       SAP certification in General Ledger (GL) module or relevant SAP modules (preferred).
