Responsibilities:
· Develop XBRL (eXtensible Business
Reporting Language) and iXBRL (Inline XBRL) solutions for financial reporting
and regulatory compliance.
· Create and manage taxonomy
extensions for XBRL reporting, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and
guidelines.
· Implement Formula Link and Table
Link basis for XBRL calculations and data relationships.
· Perform validations on XBRL
instances to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory
requirements.
· EDGARization: Prepare XBRL filings
for submission to the Electronic Data Gathering, Analysis, and Retrieval
(EDGAR) system.
· Collaborate with internal teams and
stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and ensure XBRL solutions meet
business needs.
· Stay updated on XBRL standards,
regulatory changes, and best practices to recommend and implement enhancements.
· Provide technical support and
troubleshooting for XBRL-related issues, including resolving validation errors
and data inconsistencies.
Requirements:
· 6-9 years of experience as an XBRL
Developer, with a strong background in XBRL and iXBRL reporting.
· Proficiency in XBRL taxonomy
development and management, including creating taxonomy extensions and updates.
· Experience with Formula Link and
Table Link basis for XBRL calculations and data relationships.
· Knowledge of XBRL validation rules
and tools for validating XBRL instances.
· Familiarity with EDGAR filing
requirements and processes for submitting XBRL filings to regulatory agencies.
· Strong understanding of financial
reporting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS) and regulatory compliance requirements
(e.g., SEC, ESMA).
· Excellent analytical,
problem-solving, and communication skills.
· Ability to work independently,
manage multiple projects, and meet project deadlines.
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
Preferred
Qualifications:
· Certification in XBRL or related
regulatory reporting standards.
· Experience with XBRL software tools
such as Arelle, Altova, or CoreFiling.
· Knowledge of XBRL-related
technologies and standards, such as XBRL Formula, XBRL Dimensions, and XBRL
International specifications.
· Familiarity with regulatory
reporting requirements in specific industries (e.g., banking, insurance,
securities).
· Understanding of XML, JSON, and data
interchange formats for data transformation and integration with XBRL.
· Experience in data analysis, data
modeling, or financial data management.
· Ability to collaborate with
cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and regulatory compliance
departments.
