Job title: Data Governance & Strategy Specialist

JD:
· Engage with relevant stakeholders
for Data remediation to support regulatory uplift or data clean up as an
interim measure, while we work through the strategic solution
· Apply sound business judgment to
identify unusual or suspicious documentation or activity
· Resolve issues through coordination
with the WM Teams, Regional Compliance Managers, WM Legal, and Operations
groups such as the Client Onboarding Team
· Continuously identify and implement
process improvements
· Leverage analytical skills, creative
problem solving and project management skills to uplift the existing Data
Governance model
· Organize discussions with key
stakeholders to understand how our technology works, thereby empowering you to
define specific data attributes and identify the relevant owners and source
· Improve the risk framework for data
governance by documenting existing controls, analyzing their suitability, and
recommending new controls for implementation
· Manage relationships with
professionals from other teams and divisions by articulating recommendations in
order to gain cross-divisional consensus
· Proficiency in Business Intelligence
& Low code Automation solutions to digitize the Data Governance framework
and improve efficiency
Basic
Qualifications:
· Bachelors/ Masters Degree
(Preferred: Masters degree of Finance, Business or Commerce)
· Strong analytical and interpersonal
skills
· Excellent communication skills both
written and verbal
· Must be motivated and hard working
· Exceptional attention to detail and
accuracy
· Ability to handle multiple projects,
deadlines, personalities, and broad based coverage
· Knowledge and understanding of
Excel, PowerPoint, Word and adaptability to other software products
· Ability to work in a fast-paced,
team-oriented environment
· Knowledge of the investment management
industry
· Business Intelligence experience
& relevant certifications (Tableau/ Alteryx) are preferred
· Good PC skills MS Office
