Key
Responsibilities:
· Design, develop, and maintain
automated test scripts using industry-standard automation testing tools and
frameworks.
· Collaborate with cross-functional
teams to understand project requirements, test scenarios, and acceptance
criteria.
· Create test plans, test cases, and
test data sets for both manual and automated testing.
· Execute automated tests, analyze
test results, and report defects using bug tracking tools.
· Identify and prioritize test cases
for automation based on risk, complexity, and frequency of use.
· Implement continuous integration and
continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for automated testing.
· Perform regression testing, smoke
testing, and sanity testing as part of the release validation process.
· Participate in code reviews, sprint
planning, and agile ceremonies to ensure test coverage and quality assurance.
· Collaborate with developers to
troubleshoot issues, reproduce defects, and verify bug fixes.
· Stay updated with the latest trends,
tools, and best practices in automation testing and quality assurance.
Skills and
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
· 3-8 years of hands-on experience in
automation testing roles.
· Proficiency in automation testing
tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit, or
similar.
· Strong programming skills in
languages like Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript for test automation.
· Knowledge of web technologies (HTML,
CSS, JavaScript) and API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI).
· Experience with version control
systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
· Solid understanding of software
testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
· Excellent analytical and
problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
· Strong communication and
collaboration abilities, with the ability to work in a fast-paced agile
environment.
· ISTQB or similar software testing
certifications are a plus.
