Key
Responsibilities:
· Conduct data exploration, cleaning,
and preprocessing tasks to prepare datasets for analysis and modeling.
· Perform statistical analysis,
hypothesis testing, and data mining to extract meaningful patterns and
insights.
· Develop and implement machine
learning algorithms and models for predictive analytics, classification,
regression, and clustering.
· Collaborate with cross-functional
teams to understand business requirements, identify data-driven opportunities,
and propose solutions.
· Design and conduct experiments, A/B
testing, and model validation to evaluate model performance and effectiveness.
· Build and deploy scalable and
efficient data pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
· Utilize programming languages such
as Python, R, or SQL for data analysis, modeling, and visualization.
· Work with big data technologies and
platforms such as Hadoop, Spark, or AWS/GCP/Azure services.
· Communicate findings, insights, and
recommendations to stakeholders through reports, dashboards, and presentations.
· Stay updated with the latest trends,
techniques, and tools in data science and machine learning, and apply them to
improve existing models and processes.
Skills and
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
· 4-8 years of hands-on experience in
data science, machine learning, or related roles.
· Proficiency in programming languages
such as Python, R, or SQL for data analysis and modeling.
· Strong understanding of statistical
concepts, hypothesis testing, and experimental design.
· Experience with machine learning
algorithms, techniques, and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch,
Scikit-Learn).
· Knowledge of big data technologies
and platforms (Hadoop, Spark, AWS/GCP/Azure) for handling large-scale datasets.
· Excellent analytical and
problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex and unstructured
data.
· Strong communication and
collaboration abilities, with the capability to explain technical concepts to
non-technical stakeholders.
· Experience with data visualization
tools (e.g., Tableau, Matplotlib, Seaborn) is a plus.
· Familiarity with agile
methodologies, version control systems (e.g., Git), and software development
practices is advantageous.
