Roles and Responsibility

Job Title: GBM-MCVO Prime Margin lending ops Analyst

Experience: 1-2 years

Notice period: Immediate to 15 days

Location: Bangalore

Key Responsibilities:

·       Calculate and issue margin calls accurately, validate responses, and ensure timely resolution to meet margin requirements.

·       Respond promptly to incoming queries from clients and internal stakeholders regarding margin lending operations.

·       Collaborate with various areas of the bank, particularly Risk, Credit, and Technology, to address margin-related issues and improve processes.

·       Proactively enhance team processes, controls, and operational efficiency through continuous improvement initiatives.

·       Resolve and escalate client disputes, discrepancies, and queries related to margin lending operations.

·       Participate in project management and initiatives within the team and across different regions to drive operational excellence.

·       Develop a broad understanding of departmental functions, promote cross-training, and contribute ideas for process improvements.

·       Demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, and client service skills while interacting with internal and external stakeholders.

·       Work under pressure, prioritize tasks effectively, meet deadlines, and demonstrate problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

·       Uphold discretion, good judgment, and compliance with regulatory requirements in all operational activities.

Basic Qualifications:

·       Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.

·       Strong motivation to succeed individually and as part of a team, with a focus on achieving operational excellence.

·       Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

·       Effective problem-solving, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills with attention to detail.

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.

Preferred Qualifications:

·       At least 1-2 years of experience in Operations or a related field within the financial services industry.

·       Control-focused mindset with the ability to handle multiple complex issues simultaneously while meeting client deadlines.

·       Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders to achieve operational goals.

·       Familiarity with margin lending operations, risk management practices, and regulatory requirements is advantageous.
