Responsibilities:
· Design, develop, and enhance SAP
ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, forms, and workflows according to business
requirements.
· Develop and maintain OData services
using SAP Gateway for exposing SAP data to external applications and mobile
devices.
· Implement and optimize data models,
entities, and associations in OData services for efficient data retrieval and
manipulation.
· Collaborate with functional teams to
understand business processes, data structures, and integration points within
SAP modules.
· Perform performance tuning,
debugging, and troubleshooting of ABAP programs and OData services.
· Develop and execute unit tests,
integration tests, and system tests to ensure the quality and reliability of
developed solutions.
· Provide technical guidance,
mentorship, and support to junior ABAP developers and team members.
· Stay updated with the latest SAP
technologies, ABAP enhancements, and OData specifications.
· Participate in code reviews,
documentation, and knowledge sharing sessions within the team.
· Contribute to continuous improvement
initiatives, best practices, and development standards.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer
Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
· 6-9 years of hands-on experience in
SAP ABAP development, including OData services development.
· Proficiency in ABAP programming,
data dictionary objects, user exits, BADI, and enhancements.
· Strong understanding of SAP modules
such as FI/CO, SD, MM, and HR, and their integration points.
· Experience with SAP Gateway and SAP
NetWeaver for developing OData services and APIs.
· Knowledge of SAP Fiori and UI5 for
building responsive and user-friendly interfaces is a plus.
· Excellent analytical,
problem-solving, and communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and
collaboratively in a team environment.
· SAP certifications in ABAP and OData
development are desirable.
· Experience with Agile methodologies
and DevOps practices is a plus.
