Microsoft Authentication Library Azure Active Directory B2C Azure App Service
· Solution Design and Development: Platform Expertise: Utilize Microsoft Azure
platform technologies to design build and enhance existing business-tier
components web applications and database objects. AD B2C: Ensure the best practices of integrating
Azure Active Directory B2C are followed and provide recommendations. Prototyping: Create prototypes to validate
proposed ideas and gather input from stakeholders.
· Azure AD B2C Implementation (Expert
knowledge required): Authentication
protocols: o Deep knowledge in modern authentication protocols e.g. OIDC OAuth2
SAML Custom Policies: o Create and maintain custom
policies using the Identity Experience Framework (IEF) to tailor sign-up
sign-in progressive profiling and profile editing experiences. Identity Provider Integration: o Integrate
Azure AD B2C with web and mobile applications ensuring secure authentication
and authorization. o Configure identity providers (e.g. federations with
enterprise logins SAML OpenID Connect). o Set up the necessary identity
provider information including using the Microsoft Authentication Library
(MSAL) for authorization.
· Security and Compliance: Threat Mitigation: o Design and implement
security best practices to protect against threats (e.g. denial-of-service
attacks password spray attacks). o Monitor and analyze logs using Azure Monitor
and Application Insights. Compliance and
Privacy: o Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g. GDPR) when
handling user data.
· Operations and Support:
· Environment Management: o Handle day-to-day
operations within the Azure AD B2C environment. o Monitor performance
troubleshoot issues and optimize policies. o Design and coordinate application
and user migration scenario
