JD:
· Assist in planning and designing the
migration strategy including selecting the appropriate Azure services
estimating migration timelines and identifying potential risks and mitigation
strategies
· Assist in backing up on premise
databases and restoring them to Azure cloud using Azure Backup or other backup
solutions
· Assist in executing the migration
plan including provisioning Azure resources transferring data and validating
data integrity post migration
· Monitor the performance of migrated
databases in Azure cloud identify bottlenecks and work with senior DBAs to
optimize performance
· Assist in implementing and
maintaining database security best practices in Azure cloud including access
controls encryption and compliance
· Assist in troubleshooting database
migration issues working with senior DBAs Azure support and other stakeholders
to resolve them in a timely manner
· Maintain detailed documentation of
the database migration process including migration plans execution logs and
post migration reports
· Collaborate with other IT teams
including infrastructure network and application teams to ensure a smooth
migration process
· Participate in training programs and
workshops to enhance skills and knowledge related to database migration and
Azure cloud services
· Ensure that database migration
activities comply with relevant regulations and standards such as GDPR or HIPAA
