Roles and Responsibility

Job Title: Network Engineer

Experience: 2-5 Years

Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days

Location: Pune

JD:

·       Ability to monitor & carry out 1st line diagnostics & fix on multiple IP& Data technologies

·       Acknowledge, check, and respond to customer reported faults.

·       Perform timely and accurate diagnostics, ensuring fault clearance wherever possible

·       Ensure relevant and accurate information available to assist in fault diagnosis and clear.

·       Monitor fault tickets, prioritize, and track progress as appropriate.

·       Ensure technical and managerial escalation completed to defined timescales

·       Test and liaise with customers and other internal or external agencies and third parties.

·       Ensure overall adherence to quality procedures and working processes.

·       Ensure awareness of SLA agreements, and perform all ticket actions in timescales to support SLA success.

·       Proactively identify self-development needs.

·       Responsible for adhering to process framework outlined for the profile.

·       Individual has to be a team player and should work effectively with the team.

·       Behavioral/ Personality Specifications required: -

·       Individual should possess good communication and interpersonal skills.

·       Should be a quick learner and good at adapting to situations.

·       Self-motivated, good team player, energetic with high analytic and technical problem-solving skills

Essential:

·       2-5 years of network operations experience in a Telecom environment

·       Good understanding of Service parameters in IP & Data like QoS, packet drops, jitter, latency etc

·       Hands on experience in IP networks, fixed line and wireless services.

·       Proven working experience within a Network Operations Centre environment.

·       Previous experience in resolving Customer faults in the IP network

·       Excellent understanding of Global Telecoms infrastructure including 24 x7 x 365 environment.

·       Experience in working with multiple third-party network providers and equipment vendors

·       Able to communicate at appropriate levels of target audience on both Technical & non-Technical (including process activities).
