Roles & Responsibilities: -
· Data Architecture Design: Collaborate with
stakeholders to understand data requirements and design effective data
architectures.
· Develop and maintain data models, ensuring
scalability, performance, and data integrity.
· Data Pipeline Development: Design and implement
data pipelines for the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data
from diverse sources.
· Optimize and troubleshoot existing data pipelines
to ensure efficient and reliable data processing.
· Data Quality Assurance: Implement data quality
checks and validation processes to ensure the accuracy and completeness of
data.
· Work closely with data analysts and data scientists
to understand data quality requirements.
· Database Management: Manage databases, including
schema design, indexing, and optimization for performance.
· Ensure data security, compliance, and privacy
standards are maintained.
Tool and Technology Expertise:
· Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging
technologies in the field of data engineering.
· Utilize a variety of data engineering tools and
technologies to meet business objectives.
· Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with
cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business
stakeholders.
· Communicate effectively with technical and
non-technical audiences, explaining complex concepts in a clear manner.
· Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation
for data processes, workflows, and data dictionaries.
· Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible
to relevant stakeholders.
Skills:
· Proven experience in data engineering, including
designing and implementing data solutions
· Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python,
SQL) and data manipulation tools
· Familiarity with data storage and processing
technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, relational databases)
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to
detail
· Contribute to schema design, indexing, and optimization
for performance
· Good communication and interpersonal skills
