Responsibilities:
Hyper-V
Management:
· Configure, deploy, and manage
Hyper-V virtualization environments.
· Implement and maintain Hyper-V
clusters for high availability and load balancing.
· Monitor and optimize virtual machine
performance.
Cluster
Shared Volumes (CSV) and Storage Spaces Direct (S2D):
· Design, implement, and manage
Cluster Shared Volumes for efficient storage utilization.
· Configure and maintain Storage
Spaces Direct for scalable and resilient storage solutions.
Software-Defined
Networking (SDN):
· Deploy and manage Software-Defined
Networking solutions to optimize network infrastructure.
· Implement and configure SDN policies
for network segmentation and security.
Active
Directory:
· Manage and maintain on-premises
Active Directory environments.
· Implement security best practices
for Active Directory, including Group Policies and access controls.
· Troubleshoot and resolve Active
Directory-related issues.
Patching
and Updates:
· Develop and execute patch management
strategies for Hyper-V hosts, virtual machines, and Active Directory servers.
· Ensure timely application of
security updates and patches to maintain a secure and compliant environment.
Documentation
and Reporting:
· Create and maintain comprehensive
documentation for Hyper-V, S2D, SDN, and Active Directory configurations.
· Generate regular reports on system
performance, capacity, and security compliance.
